Acceptance and opportunities for all individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).

Our Mission Statement

“To ensure that each individual with ASD is provided the means to achieve quality of life as a respected member of society.”

Objectives

  1. To promote public and professional awareness and understanding of autism and pervasive developmental disorders
     
  2. To provide information, referral, and resource material to parents and professionals
     
  3. To advocate on behalf of all people with autism/PDD and their families
     
  4. To monitor and encourage appropriate government legislation to benefit people with autism/PDD and their families
     
  5. To act as liaison between parents, service providers, and government
     
  6. To promote diagnostic, education and treatment programs for people with autism
     
  7. To promote research into the causes and treatment of autism
     
  8. To improve the quality of life for people with autism and their families by offering leisure and recreational programming.
