Aspergers Friends Network

 

The Aspergers Friends Network is a social group organized and run by parents with the goal of providing our kids with special social and educational opportunities. The activities of the group include:

 

- Social outings organized on a rotating basis by each participating family. These outings provide opportunities for the children to interact with their peers.

 

- Monthly social sessions for the children where they enjoy free play (eg. Lego building, video games, board games), interactive games and sharing hobbies. The sessions are supervised by qualified support workers and parent volunteers. - Quarterly interactive workshops to educate and teach the children social skills.
